Breakfast is one of the most important meals of the day and sometimes it can be quite boring to have always toast or cereals or yougurt so I looked for something different to try! I have been following “The Body Coach ” and I love his breakfast recipes! This is one I have tried this week and OMG I am in love! It’s so tasty and easy to make and it sets you up for the day!
It’s called Cinnamon French Toast!
Here’s what you will need :
- 1 egg
- 1/4 tbs ground cinnamon
- 1 tbs vanilla extract
- 1 or 2 slices of white bread, crusts removed
- 1/2 tbsp coconut oil
- 1 banana,sliced,to served and other fruits to taste
- maple syrup
how to make it:
Separate the white from the yolk of the egg. Add the cinnamon and the vanilla to the yolk and combine.
Wisk the white until it becomes light and frothy.Mix it with the yolk mixture until combined.
Dip the bread into the mixture, turning it a couple of times. Let the bread sink in to absorve as much of the mixture as possible .
Melt the coconut oil in a pan over medium heat . Fry the bread for about 2 minutes each side.Make sure it dosn’t burn.
Serve with the sliced bananas and other fruits and top it up with the syrup!
